Make Your Prom an Adventure
Sure. You could just take your prom date out to dinner, then the dance. Maybe a stop afterwards for a diet coke and banana split at Denny’s. You could do that.
In the Bay Area there are SO many events happening all around us, why not make your Prom Date, an Prom Adventure…?
First things first, you might wanna consider sweetening up the deal with a Chocolate Factory Tour, for FREE. (Your Welcome.)
After that, check out some Animal Attraction and find out what makes the animals get wild and all attracted to one another, from fish that can change sex to insects that eat their mates and snails that shoot “love darts,” discover some of the wildest mating strategies in the animal kingdom. I mean. Is there a better Pre-Prom activity?
Of if you need a more simple “do it yourself” type of thing, the Outdoor Exploratorium collection of exhibits at Fort Mason that harness the wind, the waves, marine life and the man-made and natural environments in this urban waterfront site. Maybe check it out for yourself before you bring your date and impress them with all your knowledge!
If you are just a big kid like me, The World’s Funniest Bubble Show is a MUST DO! The Amazing Bubble Man’s (aka Louis Pearl) show is packed with fun stuff, such as spinning flying saucer bubbles, square bubbles filled with fog, universe bubbles with orbiting planets and bubble chains that look like centipedes. There is lots of audience participation and some lucky kids will find themselves inside bubbles, while others will get to eat them.
If you have such a great time you don’t want the night to end, remember, the weekends in San Francisco are often filled with awesome events like Sunday Streets so you can keep your adventure going through the weekend.
